The old Le Male opening is still here: cool lavender and mint, sharp and a little soapy. Then it turns dark fast. Honey does the heavy lifting, thick and almost sticky, with tobacco underneath giving it a dry edge. Vanilla and benzoin keep everything warm and slightly powdery. Very sweet, so if honey usually reads cloying on you, this one will too. Projection is strong for hours and it clings to a scarf for days. Best in cold weather, at night, when you want to be noticed at close range.
