Smoke hits first. The incense is dry and a bit churchy, then oud arrives underneath, medicinal before it turns sweet. Saffron and rose keep it from going too dark, and there's a jammy raspberry note that sounds odd but works. The base is amber and soft leather, warm and thick. Projection is big and it stays on skin all day, easily into the next morning on a scarf. Sweeter than most Middle Eastern oud scents, so purists may find it too rounded. Best in cold weather, at night, on someone who likes being noticed.
