Violet leaf gives this its famous petrol-and-flower smell, odd and metallic at first. Underneath sits smooth leather, dry cedar and a warm tonka base that softens everything after an hour. The opening can feel harsh if you expect something friendly, but the drydown is genuinely beautiful, with strong projection and a good eight hours on skin. Wear it in cold weather, in the evening, if you want a scent people recognise and remember.
